Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and educational experiences.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining a safe environment for children.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care and education provided to children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents to create a welcoming community atmosphere.
• Support the development and implementation of educational programmes that cater to children's individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records related to children’s development and nursery operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
• A background in managing or supporting teams within an educational context is advantageous.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for potential transport responsibilities.
