Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join an established Nursery setting in Stokenchurch. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, the ability to manage a classroom environment, and a commitment to fostering the development of young learners. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Duties

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
• Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
• Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and organised at all times.
• Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop social skills.
• Support children's emotional well-being by providing comfort and reassurance when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
• A level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience within the nursery setting.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices is an advantage.
