What is expected of you?
As Nursery Manager, you will be at the helm of an exceptional nursery. Leading your team and ensuring it’s a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children.
Key responsibilities include -
- Educational Excellence - Lead the implementation of an innovative, industry-leading curriculum that sets children up for future success.
- Team Leadership - Manage, inspire, and mentor a dedicated team to deliver outstanding childcare and uphold the company’s values.
- Operational Oversight - With centralised administration and expert support teams to manage tasks like invoicing and health & safety, you’ll focus on leadership and development.
- Driving Growth - Strategically grow occupancy while ensuring your team remains supported and motivated.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with area directors and quality teams to continuously elevate nursery standards.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early years education and proven leadership experience. They will have the ability to inspire teams, drive operational excellence, and build an inclusive, high-performing nursery culture.
Essential skills and experience include -
- Management / Leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- An approved Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
- A GCSE or functional skills qualification in maths is required although it can be obtained after starting the position.
- In-depth knowledge of early years education, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in curriculum development and ensuring educational excellence.
- A proven track record of team management and achieving educational outcomes.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to balance occupancy growth and team retention.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
