What is expected of you?

As Nursery Manager, you will be at the helm of an exceptional nursery. Leading your team and ensuring it’s a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children.

Key responsibilities include -

  • Educational Excellence - Lead the implementation of an innovative, industry-leading curriculum that sets children up for future success.
  • Team Leadership - Manage, inspire, and mentor a dedicated team to deliver outstanding childcare and uphold the company’s values.
  • Operational Oversight - With centralised administration and expert support teams to manage tasks like invoicing and health & safety, you’ll focus on leadership and development.
  • Driving Growth - Strategically grow occupancy while ensuring your team remains supported and motivated.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with area directors and quality teams to continuously elevate nursery standards.

Essential skills and experience include -

  • Management / Leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • An approved Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • A GCSE or functional skills qualification in maths is required although it can be obtained after starting the position.
  • In-depth knowledge of early years education, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in curriculum development and ensuring educational excellence.
  • A proven track record of team management and achieving educational outcomes.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance occupancy growth and team retention.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
